We have designated Martin Luther King Jr. Day as a paid holiday that employees can use to volunteer with organizations of their choosing to advance racial and social equity.
We will strengthen our business relationships with suppliers and dealers that are owned or operated by women as well as people of diverse backgrounds.
We will increase the representation of women and people of diverse backgrounds at DTNA as well as improve our relationships with historically black colleges and universities (HBCUs) and national minority organizations.
The Diversity Champion Program will provide structure and opportunity for employees who are inspired to raise awareness within the company and in the community about diversity, equity and inclusion (DEI).
We will increase internal efforts to encourage and call upon high-potential employees of all backgrounds to advance their careers within our company.
We will actively support organizations that provide educational opportunities for marginalized communities. We will focus on deepening partnerships, increasing corporate giving as well as expanding employee volunteering and donation matching.
This September, company leadership will receive one-on-one coaching from experts on diversity, equity and inclusion (DEI) issues.
Employees participated in diversity, equity and inclusion (DEI) training in order to create an environment of mutual respect in which everyone feels acknowledged, heard and valued.
In addition to DTNA Diversity Day, we recognize and respect the value of our employees worldwide and the ways our diversity makes us stronger as a company.
This is what we’re doing to help advance racial and social justice, but we know it won’t bring about change overnight. It’s just the beginning.
That’s why we’re sharing our plans with our industry partners. We want to encourage you to work toward diversity, equity and inclusion in a way that is most meaningful to you and your organization.
You can show your support by downloading this pledge and displaying it in your workspace or sharing it online. Join us in making change a reality.
